MY STORY
The idea of Spiral Health Services was founded in early 2018. At that point, I had worked in a variety of education, healthcare, and human services roles, and had discovered my passion for public health. Since then, I have been furthering my education and gaining skills that I can pass on to the community, including keeping up to date on all CPR First/Aid best practices, and getting a degree in Applied Health with additional certificates in Community Health Planning and Implementation, Community Health Methods and Evaluation, and Human Services.
I am passionate about helping people, especially the elderly and those with disabilities. I strongly believe that EVERY single human has something to contribute to society, and is capable and worthy of strong relationships with others. I have come to realize that many people in my local community are unaware of the health disparities between different demographics.

I hope to provide affordable services to promote community health and safety, bridging those gaps and arming everyone with the skills to care for and advocate for the health and safety of their own households and their neighbors.
The name “Spiral” came about because I am a total math nerd! I love patterns and sequences. One in particular, is the Fibonacci Sequence, from which the Golden Ratio is derived. The visual representation of this ratio is a spiral. It starts small, and widens as it grows. This spiral is found everywhere in nature, from flower buds, to snail shells, to the shape of a wave in the ocean. This specific spiral design is appealing to the human eye, it is taught in photography and professional design as well. I believe that patterns enrich our lives and improve our health.
Through my years of building programs in the community for people with disabilities, I have experienced first-hand how implementing patterns, or routines, reduces stress and allows for healthy habits to be formed and maintained. I have witnessed and helped neighbors, friends, and family set routines to pull themselves out of a “rut” to improve their health. If we can all improve ourselves and implement healthy habits for ourselves and other individuals in our community, imagine how much stronger our society will be, and how much more we can accomplish!
